Robins & Owls

What an exciting last week of term in Robins and Owls!

The nativity started the week off with a bang. The children did so well. There were some fabulous performances and they sang the songs beautifully. We felt very proud!

Christmas dinner continued our festive week and the children had lots of fun at our Christmas party. We even got a surprise visit from Santa whilst dancing away- the children all remembered to say “thank you” when they received their gift. They were all so quiet whilst waiting- you could have heard a pin drop!

To round the week off, the Otters at Bainbridge had their house treat – hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows!!

Swallows & Kingfishers

The Swallows and Kingfishers had a great time at the Christmas party on Thursday morning in West Burton hall. We played lots of games including the strawberry lace race and after eight challenge which caused lots of smiles and laughter!

See video below for everyone having a very good go at the After Eight challenge – there were some interesting techniques!

The Otters at West Burton had their end of term treat of hot chocolate with squirty cream and marshmallows! Mr Greenway certainly enjoyed his last day at school and decided to entertain everyone with his hidden talents!

Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles have continued to work hard up to the end of term. In DT we have made and evaluated our shell structures and in geography we have concluded our unit on rivers by researching details about the world’s longest rivers.

The Golden Eagles have also managed to find time to start making home-made scratch art Christmas cards and have an exciting Christmas party which included an indoor snowball fight!

Herons

Here are some photos from the Heron’s Christmas party, including photos of a very special guest!

Merlins

To end the week in good spirits, the Merlins created a presentation on who inspires them and presented it to the rest of the class. We learnt that with dedication and hard-work, we can achieve anything.

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch with our friends, plus got kitted out in our best party wear! To top it off, karaoke And with that, the BAWB 2023 era comes to an end. Merry Christmas friends and families and have a happy New Year!

Merry Christmas from all the staff at BAWB – see you next year!
