A baby in the house!
How exciting to have baby Mabel visit us in school. She was very smiley and we loved seeing her. She has grown so much since the last time she visited. We have got a baby clinic in Robins now.

Air Ambulance Collection – Monday 10th October
The Great North Air Ambulance will be collecting from all three schools on Monday 10th of October. They collect; clothing, curtains, towels, handbags, belts, shoes in pairs, and bedding, apart from quilts and pillows. They do not collect bric a brac but will happily take books in a separate bag. Science!
Super science. We have been predicting and investigating whether different solids dissolve. Lots of our predictions were correct! Oats don’t dissolve. We spotted that when we made some porridge.

Lovely walk
On our walk this week we saw a beautiful rainbow. We also checked on our dead sheep. It still hasn’t completely decomposed yet. This is really good because we could see lots of bones. After learning about our skeletons last week we were able to recognise ribs and backbone. Read more…

Us Robins just love digging! Thank you so much to Teasdale Builders for donating some bags of gravel for our digging area! We have had fabulous fun digging, constructing a quarry, farming and investigating what size can fit through our sieve.
