Tchoukball with the Merlins!
For PE this week the Merlins went across to the MUGA. We have been looking at developing our skills for Tchoukball. We really enjoy using the rebound nets and learning some of the rules of this new game.

In PE this week we were looking at keeping control of the ball when dribbling. Children in the Merlins class enjoyed our warm up game ‘king of the hill’ using tennis balls to really focus on small, controlled touches.
In music with Mr Price this week the Merlins played a range of songs including hot cross buns. The children are developing their ability to play in unison and even began playing songs in a round for the first time.
In the Merlins class we are really developing our love of reading. We enjoy reading a range of our banded books as well as books from our library. We are also enjoy our new comfy reading area within the classroom.
