Children in Need

The pupils have spoken and the pupil council have discussed and voted… this years theme will be (insert drum roll) “Wear something spotty”

The Pupil Council explain:
“We would like everyone to show us their spots on Friday 18th of November. We want to raise awareness, and hopefully some money, for Children in Need and the great things the charity does. We will be collecting donations during the day but you don’t have to pay to be spotty, if you can donate that is brilliant.”

They have kindly given us (poor parents) some ideas of how to be a little spotty (maybe this should be dotty!):
“Don’t go out and buy something new, use your imagination to come up with a spotty item.
These ideas may help:
– make a spotty sash or arm band
– use felt tips to colour in spots on an old white shirt or t-shirt
– have two t-shirts of different colours and cut round holes in the top t-shirt. They will look like spots as the underneath t-shirt will show through!
– use face paints to draw different coloured spots on your face
– make a paper hat and draw spots on it”

Thank you to the Pupil Council for all these fab ideas.
