Flower power!

In art we created designs for potato printing. We then created the potato stamps to produce these fantastic pieces of artwork. We were very impressed that the children remembered primary colours and noticed when they were mixed they produced secondary colours.

To support the Askrigg Village Produce Show we have been busy planting sunflower seeds to take home. We look forward to seeing how they grow over the summer, remember to display them on the August Bank Holiday!

Deconstructing a sandwich into the five food groups (mayonnaise contains both dairy and fat). Following on from our science lesson and in preparation for DT day, the Golden Eagles evaluated (and tasted) different sandwiches.
