Reminder about Covid measures

Thank you in the main for your incredible support of our measures in place to reduce the risk of Covid. Reminders:

  • Please wear a mask when you drop-off / collect, unless you are medically exempt.
  • Please do not gather in groups in and around the school grounds.
  • Children are *not* required to wear masks at all, including on transport, but they may do so if they wish.

Assessment Week

The last week of term (beginning Monday 22nd March) will be assessment week for all of our children from Y1 upwards. The tests will take the usual format so our children are really familiar with them, though this time they will be done electronically instead of on paper. If your child usually has a ‘reader’ or ‘scribe’ for their tests (or anything other access arrangement) these will still be in place and we will, as ever, support all of our children. Following these assessments, we will have a clearer picture of how we intend to run our catch-up provision.

Easter Egg Competition

We are delighted that the PTFA has decided to run the annual Easter Egg competition this year – a much enjoyed and long-standing event in our schools. This year, it is going to look a little bit different…

Children are encouraged to design and make their eggs as normal but, instead of sending them into school, please send a photo of the creation. You may do this either as a hard copy, or via email to the admin@ address of the school where your child is taught. There will be a rosette for the winner and a runner-up for every class. The deadline for sending your photo is the end of the day on Wednesday 24th March. The PTFA will also be generously gifting an Easter egg to every child in school! Thank you from all of us and we can’t wait to see this year’s amazing eggs!
