There has been lots of water fun this week. The children have been filling, emptying, and pouring. We have encouraged language such as, “full”, “half full”, “nearly full” and “empty”.
Maths has been all about making repeating patterns. The children are getting really good at coming up with more complex patterns.
We had a very exciting morning on Thursday when we got to meet and learn about different kinds of animals, including a Snake, a Hamster and a Guinea Pig. We learnt about what they like to eat, when they sleep and about their natural habitat.

We have really enjoyed reading our favourite stories, to our friends and teddies on World Book Day. We made a lovely cosy area on the carpet with the beanbags!
On Tuesday we talked about Shrove Tuesday and saying sorry for doing wrong things. We got ready for Lent by making pancakes. The children described them as delicious, tasty, sweet and rubbery!
