The Swallows practised combining different jumps together to see how far they could travel. We have some very impressive triple jumpers!
In art the Swallows have been drawing objects from nature in three different ways: as a careful observation drawing; without being able to see the paper and as a continuous line drawing.

On our walk this week we saw a beautiful rainbow. We also checked on our dead sheep. It still hasn’t completely decomposed yet. This is really good because we could see lots of bones. After learning about our skeletons last week we were able to recognise ribs and backbone. Read more…
The Kingfishers have had a fantastic day, dressing up in the colours of their flags, completing a language-based escape room and finding out lots of fascinating facts in a treasure hunt. Thank you to everyone for supporting with costumes and practicing phrases.
In RE, the Kingfishers have been learning about God’s creation and the instructions that God has given. The Kingfishers found that some tasks – such as traversing the classroom blindfolded – were easier if they followed instructions.
