Welcome to new Governors…

The BAWB Federation’s Governing Board and staff team would like to welcome two new governors:

Mr Steve Kirkbride-Trow (co-opted governor)

Mr Kirkbride-Trow is a parent of a child in our federation but has not been elected into a parent-governor vacancy. Rather he has been co-opted onto the board after expressing an interest in the role and demonstrating that he has a number of skills which the board feel would be of huge benefit to our work. His background is project management and he has a broad skill-set and range of professional attributes which we feel will add strength to our already competent board.

Miss Vicky Collins (staff governor)

Miss Collins has volunteered her services to the vacant post of staff governor (Mrs Harrison remains on the board but as shared ex-officio with Miss Harper). Miss Collins brings a huge wealth of experience and knowledge about our schools and broader educational issues. Part of her role will be to represent staff on the board and be an expert contributor to the strategic development of the school’s curriculum and wider priorities. We are grateful for her giving of her own time to embark on this role.
