Taking the lessons outdoors

We really enjoyed our outdoor maths game this week! The children have been thinking about different ways that 5 can be made. They played a game where one child asked a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question to 5 friends. The 5 children had to run to a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ hoop. They then took it in turns to practise writing number sentences to show how many children thought ‘yes’ and how many thought ‘no’.
