Robins update 05.11.21
The children (and staff) have been so excited to have Mrs Johnston back this week and I think Mrs Johnston was very excited to be back in Robins too! It has been wonderful to hear happy news from the children about ‘trick or treating’ and other fun things they have been busy doing during the half term holiday.
As it is almost Bonfire night, the children have started to think about why we celebrate Bonfire night in this way. Lots of them will be able to tell you a little bit about Guy Fawkes and can remember the “Remember, remember the fifth of November…” rhyme too. I asked them to challenge their grown ups at home to see if they could also remember it!

Robins have been exploring fireworks and bonfire night. Here we have experimented with our new sparkly pens.
We have used shapes to make fireworks. Rockets are our favorite.
This is the beginning of our firework art. We are going to add some collage elements to make it even more special. We have watched a wonderful fireworks display that had spheres, circles and heart shapes.
