PTFA Meeting Minutes – January 2022

Raising money – and spending it on BAWB’s children!

Thank you to all who helped with the Christmas fair last term. The money raised from that (just over £1,000 after costs), plus a £500 donation from Wensleydale Creamery, paid for the Christmas books for all children and the online panto and ice creams at Christmas, and at the January meeting, funding totalling around £1,000 was agreed to go towards two mud kitchens at Bainbridge, transport for a forthcoming residential trip to Marrick Priory, and the development of a reading shed at West Burton. So, money in means money out!

The effort that goes into raising money really does make a difference as these experiences and activities just wouldn’t be possible without the PTFA supporting them. Thank you again to all who have contributed in any way. All parents and staff are automatically members of the PTFA so please do come along to the meetings, join the Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bawbptfa) or offer to help where you can. Every contribution helps!
