Height and Weight Measuring
The Healthy Child Team will be in our schools on Wednesday 23 June to take the height and weight of our Reception and Year 6 children.
This is part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). Parents will receive a letter regarding this. You do have the option to opt out of this programme and you can do so by calling 01423 544271.
GNAAS Update
Thank you for everyone’s donations of old clothing etc that was collected by the GNAAS in April, it raised £107.20 for our schools, so thank you to everyone who brought in their bags. The next collection will be during the morning of Monday 13th September at all three schools.
Charity book stalls in aid of Oxfam’s Covid in India appeal
Following our work on developing reading across our federation which has including a huge audit of reading books, we have found ourselves with a number of books that we would love to be able to pass on. Our pupils would like to use this opportunity to raise much-needed funds for Oxfam’s Covid in India appeal.
Stalls will be held at Askrigg and West Burton on Tuesday 22nd of June and at Bainbridge on Tuesday 29th of June. More information about these stalls, timings, and logistics will be shared with you next week so keep an eye out for the email.
