Quill Soup anyone?!
This week, we have been reading more of our book ‘Quill Soup’ and we have really enjoyed acting it out. Here we are refusing food to a hungry porcupine and, finally, dancing round a delicious pot of quill soup. Yum Yum!

In music this week, the children have been challenged to compose their own songs using only three notes: C, D & E. They used a virtual online piano to create their songs and wrote their musical compositions on a stave so that other children could then try playing them.
We all have great fun during our problem-solving Friday sessions in maths. Today, Year 6 were solving a very complicated problem involving time conversions and dates and need the whole of the whiteboard and an online calendar to work it all out
