Art!

Published by Gemma Gurden on

Our art project from the first half of the spring term is complete: we have created a street of miniature Tudor-style houses. We used our knowledge of 3D shapes in maths to help us by using nets of cubes, cuboids and triangular-based prisms for the basis of the houses. We then decorated them using strips of paper to represent the beams, cocktail sticks and folded paper for signs. We even cut out working doors and windows in some of the models. We think they turned out really well.
