During our unit on money, the owls wanted to create a shoo to practise using money to pay for items

We compared our cress seeds with the seeds that had been given water and light and concluded that cress seeds need water and light to grow!

This week we have continued to explore mind maps as part of our abstract art week. This time we used a view finder to focus on parts of our artwork and re-create a bigger version.

Practising for sports day, learning how to quickly hand the baton over in the relay race.  Great teamwork, encouraging and helping others, well done Owls.

We consolidated our prior maths learning during our walk to the park this week, forwards, backwards, full turn, half turn….can you guess what we’re doing!

They have now been safely released into the school garden

For the final piece of work in the unit of art, we had to print using natural materials.  It was really important that we chose contrasting colours and carefully spaced our printing out.
