As an extension to reading The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch the children have made a model and there is a picture of Lizzy with the picnic basket and a knife and fork and the basket on the zip wire.

The owls enjoyed bringing all of their learnt skills together to create their 3D birds in art during the last week of term. The techniques included curling, folding, crumpling and creating texture using rubbings.  We hope you like them, we’re very proud of our creations.

The Owls have been learning about Rosa Parks, understanding the significance of her not giving up her seat on the bus.
