BAWB Federation art project

Published by Webmaster on

Last term we were very fortunate to work with artist Lorna Hazelwood to work on a large BAWB Federation art project.  This involved each child, planning and making a piece of outdoor art, showing what is special about our schools.

These individual pieces of artwork were then combined by Lorna to create a large mural for each school.  Last week the murals were installed, I think you will agree they look amazing.

We would like to thank Lorna for working with our schools to create these fantastic pieces of artwork that will be admired and appreciated for years to come. – Mrs Harrison

Here at Askrigg we were very excited to see our art installation. The children created some artwork triangles that expressed an aspect of our school that is special. The children’s ideas were all so unique and wonderful and a selection of them can be seen on our new mural – Mr Greenway
