Art sculptures

The children have been looking at sculpture and art instillations so far this term. Today they were challenged to create a chair that represents their personality. Unlike usual we used a ‘plan by exploration’ approach. This allowed us to quickly learn on the spot and forced us to make adaptions and change our creations while we worked. This will support us in our future lessons and will give us a better understanding of how designers might work and the limitations they can discover.
