Observational sketching of wild flowers in art this week. All the Merlins showed a real flair for observational drawing.
Retelling our story using talk for writing. The Merlins really enjoy this and are incredible in their retelling. We have just begun reading The Street Child by Berlie Doherty.
Working up a sweat in our daily HIIT Sessions. We have been doing these daily and we’re already feeling the benefits.
Merlins and Golden Eagles being introduced into our new science topic on rocks. They did an excellent and delicious experiment using chocolate to show how sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks are formed.
