Respect Code
Here at BAWB, our children and staff follow our RESPECT Code which guides our behaviour and ensures that we are compassionate and respectful. It is the code which underpins our excellent pupil behaviour, noted by Ofsted in all recent inspections.
The RESPECT code is rooted in the message of The Good Samaritan: a message of courageous compassion from which our RESPECT code grows. This is conveyed through the image of a tree.
Our Respect Code is deeply embedded into the heart of our schools and upheld by our whole school community. ‘Respect Ambassadors’ are nominated in each class every term and their role is to ensure that the RESPECT code remains at the heart of our collective behaviours.
We hope that our code ensures our good behaviour at all times but sometimes we make mistakes and we have a 5-step process to support us when this happens.
