Parent Forum
We are delighted to announce the return of our Parent Forum: an opportunity for parents to come together to discuss school issues in a structured way, without the presence of school staff. Forums will be chaired by one of our parent governors: Laura Alderson and Mally Dolphin.
Our first meeting will be at 6:00pm on Monday 28th November at Bainbridge Primary School
Please forward any suggested agenda items to either Laura or Mally:

Our Parents’ Forum WILL… | Our Parents’ Forum WILL NOT… |
promote a positive ‘working together’ culture | discuss individual staff members |
be a positive environment to enable parents to be involved in the life of the school and share their ideas | discuss individual pupils |
promote partnership between the schools, our pupils and all of our families | be instrumental in fundraising, but will fully support the PTFA |
be used to canvass opinions about new initiatives | be responsible for policy making or budget matters |
encourage parents to be involved in ensuring any agreed proposals come to fruition | be a forum in which to make complaints or raise items which are personal to individuals’ experiences |
not have members of staff in attendance (unless the forum requests a member of staff to attend to share information or answer questions) | be the first point at which issues are raised (class teachers or the headteacher should have the opportunity to address issues before they are publicly discussed) |
