School Promises

We have three simple rules to guide our children to make the right choices. These are:

These ‘promises’ are displayed in every classroom. The image of the Good Samaritan – the story at the heart of our Christian Vision – is displayed at the end of the poster to help them remember this well-known story and think what would the Good Samaritan do whenever they have a tricky decision to make.

Our expectations of good behaviour are met mainly through positive reinforcement and clear guidelines and support from staff. Where a sanction is required due to deliberate refusal to keep our school promises, we work with the child, and their parents where appropriate, to find out what is making it difficult for them to meet our expectations.
