The Colour Monster

We have listened to the story, The Colour Monster. The colour Monster explores different feelings, where different colours represent different emotions. The nursery children have thought carefully about the colour they wanted their colour monster to be. This has encouraged some discussions with the children about how they are feeling and what makes them feel “happy” or “sad”. We are also encouraging children to use different words for how they feel, eg. calm, excited, grumpy, worried.
