We have also really enjoyed planting sunflowers. Askrigg Produce Show has invited all the children to grow sunflowers and then display them over the weekend of the show (August bank holiday weekend) to show our support for the people of Ukraine. Mrs Gurden kindly delivered pots, seeds and compost and we all planted our seeds and took them home.
